Abstract
Tbe purpose of tbis survey was to investigate Butterwortb Senior Secondary Scbool teacbers' views on tbe relationsbip between teacber involvement in decision-making and morale. Out of four Butterworth Senior Secondary Scbools witb a population of about eigbty six teacbers, tbirty teacbers were willing participants in tbe researcb study. Tbe teacbers come from a bomogeneous background (Xbosa-speaking). Questionnaires were administered to tbe sample subjects (population). Tbe results (responses) of tbese teacbers (respondents) were tben analyzed. After tbe analysis of tbeir results, it became clear tbat tbere is a relationsbip between teacher involvement in decision-making and morale. Tbus, tbe findings did not support tbe null bypotbesis wbicb stated tbat Butterwortb Senior Secondary Scbool teacbers see no relationsbip between tbeir involvement in decision-making and morale.
